The June Top 5 is here. Personally, June was a bit tumultuous for me. I have joked with my friends that I am going through a mid-life crisis at 34. Self-deprecation is always my favorite way to get through the hard times. And as the queen Kelly Clarkson says, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
I’m entering July with a new found energy. I have some exciting and nerve-wracking plans in the works. Growth comes from putting yourself in situations outside your comfort zone. Honestly, I’m very hopeful and optimistic about what is ahead.
Looking ahead in July, we are in full swing of festival season here in Chicago. The only festival I have gone to religiously is Pierogi Fest. This year Smash Mouth is headlining. Talk about a throw back. Plus, July is heavy shopping season. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and Prime Day may be two of the most shopped events of the year. Lots of great content coming ahead.
