Let’s set some 2023 goals! This year is off to a bang. I have been so excited about what this year could be because let’s face it, 2022 wasn’t one of my best. From another ankle surgery to my dad’s cancer diagnosis to my mom getting injured at every turn (sorry for putting you on blast mom!) to advocating for myself within my professional career, it’s been an abnormally tough one. Unfortunately, many of these things are out of my control so I’m taking the attitude “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” into 2023 (read: I’m feeling super strong!).
As I look towards 2023, I have so many goals, desires, and ambitions for this year. After writing them down and looking them over, one theme stood out to me. My 2023 word of the year is CONSISTENCY.
Before I dive too much into the specifics, I am already so proud of launching my own business! For many years, I have explored and researched entrepreneurship. Finally, I had the confidence to pull the trigger. Without further ado, I am so excited to introduce Premurosa. Premurosa means thoughtful in Italian and my goal is to create thoughtful moments through gifting. We offer curated gift boxes, the option to create your own gift box, or you can buy anything from our market. We are open for pre-orders with 10% off our entire store until January 31st!
Without going into too much detail and sharing my SMART goals, below are some of the high level themes of my 2023 goals and consistency is going to help me achieve them.
- Increase my blog visitors and income: Posting consistently here and on my social channels is a crucial piece to crushing this goal. If you want to support and read more, I’m really proud of my Travel Guides and Chicago Guides.
- Make Premurosa profitable: It will need consistent attention and effort to make it a success.
- Exercise: I want to hit a Pilates class milestone and start spin again. To hit both, I need to be consistently attending classes.
- Lowering my food spend: My goal is to cook more meals at home and try one new recipe per week. This will also help me make progress towards becoming debt-free.
- Read more: I feel like I set a book goal on Goodreads (add me as a friend here) and then forget about it. If I can spread it out and consistently approach it, it won’t be so daunting. I also set my goal to be reasonable with everything else on my plate.
I am hopeful about what 2023 will bring. Small steps will make big changes. I’d love to hear what goals you have in store. Let’s be consistent together!
Xoxo
