Chicago is full of great pizza so it is no surprise that it is also full of great pizza places. That list definitely includes Parlor Pizza. I first stumbled upon Parlor’s West Loop location after a work holiday party before the area was as developed as it is now. It just exudes cool vibes from the atmosphere through the food.
Earlier this month, I got to try out the Wicker Park location for the first time. They have a River North location too! At this time, Chicago restricted indoor dining and Parlor had an amazing heated tent. It was so warm in the tent that you could take off your coat which is always a win.
We went in the middle of the afternoon and got a bunch of appetizers to watch the Notre Dame v. Alabama game. Every single one was delicious! The mozzarella sticks were oozing, kale & artichoke dip creamy, and the nachos loaded. While we didn’t get a ton of pizza this time around, I would be remiss to mention how good it is. In a Neapolitan style, I can personally recommend the Margherita, I Feel Like Bacon Love, and the Cheesus, Mary & Joseph. Parlor should definitely be added to your Chicago pizza list.
