Living Room Tour

I have always secretly loved interior decorating, but have been hampered by space and budget. When I moved into my current apartment, I was in a spot where I could finally put together my dream living room. My goal with this space was to have classic pieces that I could have for years to come. Eventually I would love to purchase my own place, but also need to work within being a renter.

Before moving in, I had my couch, bar cart, and blanket ladder so pretty much I had a blank canvas. My main colors were gold, navy, white, gray, and blush. My first purchase was the bookshelves. I knew that I wanted two bookshelves and found my amazing ones at Walmart. Once I had the bookshelves, I measured my space and found a TV stand at Wayfair that was a perfect fit. Personally, I would have preferred at all of the storage and shelves were hidden.

Next up came, my cocktail table. I had my eye on a different one that was more expensive, but I was stalking the webs and found this one just as it was released at Roy’s Furniture. It was a perfect match to my space! Lastly, I got my velvet navy chairs at Pottery Barn. I had downloaded a Pottery Barn free background for my Zoom and was inspired to buy these chairs from how much I loved the room. Also, these are surprisingly affordable for Pottery Barn!
